• Wood Elves: Lean towards softer, sylvan sounds. Their surnames usually reflect nature and the hunt (e.g., “Greenleaf”, “Oakenheel”).

Naming a Drow (Dark Elf)

If you select “Drow” in the tool above, the algorithm shifts. Drow names from the Underdark are sharper and more dangerous. They frequently use “X”, “Z”, and “Q” sounds (e.g., “Drizzt”, “Xullrae”) to reflect a society built on intrigue and power.
