Exploring ‘The New New Hebrew’: A Talk on May 10th

An assistant professor of Jewish studies at California State University, Northridge, will be hosting an online talk called “The New New Hebrew: Contemporary Trends in Israel Culture.” The talk will take place on May 10th from 7 to 8:30 p.m. and will be part of the Siegal Lifelong Learning program.

During the talk, the professor, Weininger, will discuss current trends in Israeli literature, art, and music that highlight the challenges faced by Israeli society. The focus will be on how these creative forms of expression reflect those challenges.
